Tony Maione • Lawyer
I am a solicitor of East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull practising as a freelance solicitor, authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. I practise independently and provide legal services directly to clients rather than through a traditional law firm. My experience is varied and includes commercial and business law, employment law, public law, and private law matters. I have worked with individuals, businesses, and public sector bodies, including working with and inside local authorities.
My public law experience includes advising on governance, statutory powers and duties, and lawful decision-making. This has given me a strong understanding of how legal advice operates in practice within public bodies. I offer a flexible and transparent approach to legal services, with fees agreed in advance. I do not operate a client account or hold client money.
Where a matter falls outside my scope as a freelance solicitor, or would be better suited to a law firm or specialist provider, I will advise clients accordingly.
